Another piece for my Parody, Fun, Jokes, Silly, @suno playlist (https://suno.com/playlist/dbe7277a-040e-4548-be42-4ea2b17d3c99): bit of Rebecca Black mockery silly response to her FRIDAY and SATURDAY tunes my WEDNESDAY tune came out yesterday (Tue. Apr. 28th 2026), about today (Wed) and NOW comes some LOVE finally for Thursday's (after joking with @Grok(#Grok-AppVersion) about it, I went and did it....
Monday songs, Moody Blues "Tuesday" afternoon, my Wednesday song, several Friday, Saturday, Sunday, songs already exist. 'bout time Thursday get some love.
THURSDAY (NO LONGER NEGLECTED)
Neglected so long, so it gets a longer song! LOL!
https://suno.com/s/329ZMblbexOBRNVw
[intro]
Why is Thursday neglected?
'bout time Thursday get some love
time it stop be dejected!
[Verse 1]
Monday got a whole choir
Tuesday got the afternoon
Wednesday got your name on it
And Friday stays in tune
Saturday spins so easy
Sunday gets the light
But Thursday sits in the corner
Like it missed the invite
[Pre-Chorus]
Hey now, look around
There's a hole in the week
Every other day gets dressed up
Every other day can speak
[Chorus]
Thursday time, Thursday time
Don't leave me behind
Thursday time, Thursday time
I'm right here in line
Thursday, Thursday
Let me take my turn
Thursday time, Thursday time
Watch this quiet one burn
[Verse 2]
I hear the old songs floating
From the days before
Monday on the radio
And Tuesday wanting more
My Wednesday song is humming
Like a bus stop prayer
But Thursday's got a heartbeat
If somebody would care
[Pre-Chorus]
Hey now, look around
There's a spark in the dust
A bridge between the hurry
And the wild days after us
[Chorus]
Thursday time, Thursday time
Don't leave me behind
Thursday time, Thursday time
I'm right here in line
Thursday, Thursday
Let me take my turn
Thursday time, Thursday time
Watch this quiet one burn
[Bridge]
No, I'm not asking for a miracle
Just a little room to shine
A song for the almost weekend
A flag on the fence line
Let the others keep their legends
Let them wear the crown
I'm the step you never notice
Till you need to come back down
[Verse 3]
Monday got a hymn in the hall
Tuesday got a moonlit call
Wednesday’s got a grin of its own
And I’m still here, waiting at the bone
Friday struts in with a crown
Saturday spins the whole town down
Sunday lays its head in light
But Thursday slips out of sight
[Pre-Chorus]
Tell me why
We let it pass
One more day
Stuck in the back
[Chorus]
Thursday time, Thursday time
Give me my shine (Thursday time)
Thursday time, Thursday time
Let me have mine
Thursday time, Thursday time
Out of the line (Thursday time)
Thursday time, Thursday time
Right in the prime
[Verse 4]
There’s a shoe on the step, half-tied
A bus breathes out on the other side
Coffee gone cold in the paper cup
But Thursday still knows how to wake me up
It’s the hinge on the week’s front door
A little less now, a little more
Not the start and not the end
Just the day that sneaks back in
[Pre-Chorus]
Tell me why
It gets left behind
One good spark
In the middle of time
[Chorus]
Thursday time, Thursday time
Give me my shine (Thu time)
Thursday time, Thursday time
Let me have mine
Thursday time, Thursday time
Out of the line (Thursday time)
Thursday time, Thursday time
Right in the prime
[Bridge]
Monday can keep its parade
Tuesday can fade, Wednesday can wave
Friday can borrow the crowd
I’m calling Thursday out loud
