in this day and age of Tech there was a far better solution.
Are you aware that in AZ where the Cardinals play THAT ENTIRE FOOTBALL FIELD moves in and out of the Stadium?
And, of course, retractable Roofs have been a thing for decades.
Many "rooms" have "retractable" (on skids) WALLS.
The SAME PRINCIPLE could have, SHOULD HAVE, been applied here.
LEAVE the Grass as a Garden area MOST TIME but indeed when the area needed for an event the area "too wet" and "too muddy" to be practical which then an simple LAY OUT RAILS and then EXTEND A FOLDABLE FLOOR OUT for use as needed and then RETRACTED back to Grass when NOT NEEDED for a more "stable" and "sturdy" ground to hold an Event on.
This is NOT HARD STUFF to figure out. Trump sadly just decided to get it done the QUICK and CHEAPEST way possible - the WhiteHouse and all its grounds can, could, should, ALWAYS be viewed in "changing in any way" that can ENHANCE (convert to/for MULTI-PURPOSES) but with an eye to PRESERVATION OF THE HISTORIC at same time whenever and where-ever possible AND THIS WOULD HAVE, SHOULD HAVE, EASILY COULD HAVE, been one of those times!
Send CINOs/RINOs a monopoly money message vlog!
