Key Takeaways
Luann Hunt is a successful singer-songwriter with 25 albums, who persevered in her musical pursuits despite facing discouragement early on.
Hunt typically writes lyrics first before crafting the music, with the lyrics often undergoing changes as the music takes shape.
Her song 'Ghosts of a Simpler Time' aims to evoke nostalgia for a simpler time while acknowledging that such idealization may be exaggerated.
Hunt recorded the song 'Christmas Without You', which was originally meant for Patsy Cline but ended up being recorded by Hunt years later, as if it was meant for her all along.
Hunt emphasizes the importance of using common sense and finding a balance when it comes to conspiracy theories, rather than getting caught up in believing everything is a lie or a conspiracy.
The episode provides insights into Hunt's creative process as a songwriter, as well as the backstories behind some of her songs.
The overall tone of the episode is conversational and insightful, delving into Hunt's musical journey while also touching on broader themes.
Listeners are provided with details on how to find Hunt's music online, as well as information about the host's book and a coffee brand he promotes.

Who else is concerned??
#READING is down!!
IMO, in part, cuz our #Education system has cut way back on REQUIRED #READINGS of Classic material as a #Educational value and like most things - getting accustomed to reading #books all through #life becomes a somewhat #learned (nature vs nurtured) behavior.
Now, why the concern??
https://www.google.com/search?q=studies+show+reading+is+down
Well, you might think the obvious answer as me as an #author want people to be #reading my (https://tinyurl.com/tinyurl.com/JLDonAMAZON) #books - and, of course, duh, that is part of it.
BUT MORE-SO, I am very concerned about the LACK of desire of folks to want to do own #Research and #learn (even in #fiction fare, there are things to be #learned; especially, or should I say, depending on the #author and if they want #REALITY and #FACTS in their fare or just pure fluff/frivolity (like I have both an https://tinyurl.com/ChristiTutionalistEduSeries non-fiction geared toward presentation of #facts and asking people to ...
