#Michigan NOT "SOUTHERN" Border (what you meant) BUT.... #MI (I am in a Detroit Downriver southern suburb) is very much a Border State. We, of course, are just a RIVER JOURNEY across from Canada and YES Border Patrol has always been busy here (during Prohibition days, tunnels were built under the Detroit river and many into my hometown of Wyandotte to smuggle booze, while still more came across by boat). SAME THING regard Human-trafficking today!!! Border Patrol vehicles and Personnel around Wyandotte ALL THE TIME. Trafficking and Drug smuggling is NOT just a Southern Border issue, though YES the primary and easier point of crossing many times (though many coming across Northern Border while so much focus on Southern one).

Today, this morning (Wed. Nov. 4, 2026), the final ROOF BEAM was put into place. The FIVE STORY VAULTED CEILING affords for even MORE CAPACITY if needed than basic design - as a temporary 2nd floor could be put in place on as needed basis above the ground level and STILL leave lots of space above!
