It is NOT just such need for "discernment" on #SocialMedia platforms, and any and every given platform in itself is neither GOOD or EVIL but a matter of whom one gravitates to as a VALID/TRUSTED Source of information over time. As the STOPPED CLOCK saying goes, we need "discern" and "learn" those whom are GOOD at providing us FACTual based information on a consistent basis regardless of the Source. Hey, remember, Glenn Beck used to be on the usually/otherwise worthless CNN back when - I say that to again make the point that IT IS NOT the platform, but the WHO on any given platform you pay attention to!!
