The First Vertical Take-Off and Landing Fighter (still propeller based) as the War really ramped up of course all sides were engaging in Bombing the ever loving crap out of each others' Airfields to try to keep the other sides Planes from operating freely, easily, unobstructed; forcing each other to spend time and resources to repair runways to be able to get planes up and down from the Skies; that HAD Germany rushed them into production ...
