They have REDEFINED TERMS and ACCOUNTING METHODS of most things to make them more favorable. Only thing matters right now is WORK-FORCE PARTICIPATION RATE which is in the tank!!!! And why wouldn't it be? The Left continues to want to keep people in the Welfare Wagon rather than being a Productive earning their own way/keep member of Society. Dependent on FASCICRATS!!
OK, practical would be convert the local-run Postal Office vehicles to Electric (again, IF we're to continue this charade)... Local run UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc. (Diesel long-haulers will still be necessary)... THOSE ARE PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS not the MACRO force Automotive Makers to be ALL ELECTRIC by 2050 or whatever.

Also, Tidal-Generators (yes, long understood HYDRO POWER) where small Tidal-Mills (think like a Windmill, but better) into TIDAL CURRENT (like here, our Detroit River) where the TIDES ALWAYS FLOW where-as Wind does NOT always blow. But they don't want PRACTICAL, they want what LINES THEIR POCKETS!
