Some saying Travis (if in) would have made all the difference - but even with him out Vegas only moved the line from Lions +5.5 to Lions +4.5 when announced he was out and I would have thought it would have dropped to Lions +1.5 or even "even money" so they weren't expecting him being out to make much difference -- but given the drops of the other WR's, one has to say in 20/20 hindsight made a big difference
Lions had really ALL PRE-SEASON and 2 WEEKS PRACTICE exclusively preparing for Chiefs, you do NOT have that luxury vs anyone else now the remainder of the Season and we will be playing some other GREAT TEAMS along the way.
but I was indeed ultimately right and it played out EXACTLY as I expected
EXCEPT that KC failed on that what should have been GAME WINNING FG DRIVE
at which I would have still Won my bet
that the Lions GOT LUCKY, again meeting KC in Week 1 and with SB hangover, and Won IS BONUS
AS I'VE SAID FOR WEEKS COULD HAPPEN, but still did not really expect would happen.
