Like the old GEICO Ad (and was the basis for another article of mine) proclaimed: “That’s not how that works! That’s not how any of this works!” The Woman proclaims to the other elderly lady about her putting photographs on her Living-room wall. When you refuse to punish Criminals, no matter how sternly you “wag your finger” and keep repeating “C’mon man, we know you can do better” going soft of Crime encourages more Crime. Failing to punish Criminals, they then know they can escalate to more frequent Criminal acts and even potentially more severe Crimes that put more and more U. S. Citizens at risk. So for the sake of the STUPID, time to revisit: “Should Be “DUH, NOW I GET IT” Moment, But Won’t Be For The Left…”
