When you refuse to punish Criminals, no matter how sternly you “wag your finger” and keep repeating “C’mon man, we know you can do better” going soft of Crime encourages more Crime. Failing to punish Criminals, they then know they can escalate to more frequent Criminal acts and even potentially more severe Crimes that put more and more U. S. Citizens at risk. So for the sake of the STUPID, time to revisit: “Should Be “DUH, NOW I GET IT” Moment, But Won’t Be For The Left…”
