I was up at U/D-RTL helping stuff and fold the latest Newsletter, and Ed shared something he called ALUMI-MAN due to the shape (of melted Aluminum Cans, came out of his Firepit)... I said NO, that is now our new Mascot: ALUMI-BABY and the idea for this story born....

The Upper-Downriver Right To Life Center now has a Mascot: Alumi-Baby.
U/D-RTL’s own Ed Kroll has for many years been tossing Aluminum cans into Fire-pits, as they then meltdown requiring less space before official recycling use. Ed was fishing his meltdowns from the Firepit recently and an inspirational shape emerged. The Aluminum this time struck him, in that it was/is a distinct Human-Baby Fetal shape.

Alumi-Baby was born. Like a Phoenix from the Ashes: Superhero Alumi-Baby, our new Mascot, to JOIN THE PRO-LIFE FIGHT was Birthed. Move over D. C. and MARVEL, now comes a new Superhero – Patron Saint of the Un-Born.
Dear Friends, NO this is not trivializing nor frivolous. Our Mission is to reach and teach. Non-traditional methods, after the passing of Proposal-3 in Michigan are needed NOW MORE THAN EVER. If a “cute little Mascot” can, may, Help; and as Marketing Professionals know, you have to find ways to break-through; let us embrace this concept!!
You are the first to be introduced to Alumi-Baby, but a U/D-RTL Website (using WIX Website Services; to save our Volunteers Donations for other purposes, we’ll be making use of their more-limited but FREE side functions) will also soon be born to give us a Search-Engine discoverable presence on the Internet.
