So, now, EVEN BETTER, maybe we can get STUPID LEADERSHIP (though with JoeBiDUMB not likely to happen) here in USA to stop honoring it and putting us at a strategic disadvantage.

... to assure Russia could NEVER have enough Missiles and even think about a FIRST STRIKE potential, as our Missiles would then be more dispersed securing and assuring the MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) deterrent/detente.
China is building and bolstering it's Nuclear arsenal for decades now while the USA was honoring the Treaty that China was not part to (and, like Russia, would not have honored anyway - why do we keep entering into these one-sided clearly making us less safe and secure agreements in the first place?).
It may have made sense to want to TRY at that time, to see if we could pivot the world from continued Nuclear escalation, but there comes a point when you have to ADMIT FAILURE when another Party CHEATS on said agreements. See you as, plays us for Suckers, that they can game and constantly take advantage of.
Tyrannical Regimes only know one thing, STRENGTH and the understanding their aggression will ALWAYS BE MET WITH A RESPONSE. People learned NOTHING about the failings of Neville Chamberlainism appeasement (as discussed in my book ( especially ATROCITY chapter ( https://TerrorStrikes.info/table-of-contents ))) only means the Beast knows it can consume more without consequence - which results in even greater conflict and mass-casualties than if/when confronted earlier.
