Was great getting the chance to meet you (virtually) and participate in this Show (306) too. Sadly Business folks and Innovators face so much red-tape and resistance... As I said in the Show (channeling the 60's Hippies) "Don't let the Man get you down" keep on Fighting!
Didn't get the chance to discuss this during the Show --- I too tried to get a patent, but someone else had beaten me to the punch. Had I applied for (STABLEtemp (a thermostat that would automatically change your system from Cooling/Heating modes for areas with Wild temperature fluctuations occur to maintain one/steady temperature all day, every day, any/every season)) it back when I first thought of it, rather than 2 decades later, I would have gotten it (over the other guy, his was/is called (patented as) The SENSI thermostat) and, of course, the product is NOT on the market, it got patented and buried.
