The OSCARS 2022 FARCE....
It has, sadly, been IMPOSSIBLE to escape the ongoing coverage of the Will Smith ASSAULT on Chris Rock... I think we all MISSED SOMETHING... A conclusion I just recently came too after seeing angle after angle of camera shots of the #WillSmithChrisRockAssault incident....
BOTH OF THEM laughed at the #Joke at first.
#JADA (only briefly, and) THEN she got PISSED AT #WILLSMITH (not #ChrisRock) for his TOO HARDY LAUGHTER at the #Joke.
Everyone had initially laughed at the Joke - IT WAS DAMN FUNNY!
BUT once Will Smith saw his wife was pissed at him, and maybe he was too stupid to understand her GLARING AT HIM NOT CHRIS, she was giving WILL SMITH the eyerolls and the stink-eye (go watch again for yourself)
then HIS FACE SAVING attempt #EPICFAIL #AssaultAtTheOscars happened.
This was ZERO to do with #ChrisRock and ALL ABOUT THEIR FAILED (OPEN) MARRIAGE (his inability to keep her from cheating on him even with one of their own Son's friends in their own Home (everyone knows about))!
Did someone FINALLY explain the reality to him, which is obvious only after paying really close attention to the slow-motion playbacks) that he then did finally apologize directly to #Rock.
Anyone that has had any behind the scenes workings of a TV show knows, it is highly unlikely that a Camera was just COINCIDENTALLY on Jada/Will Smith and the Director able to notice and order a cut to that camera THE VERY INSTANT of the Joke - therefore the Joke was likely scripted and the crew knew it was coming and ready to get the Smith's reactions! And part of the reason why I thought at first the ENTIRE THING WAS SCRIPTED as the Oscars ever failing, year after year decline in viewership, DESPERATE FOR PUBLICITY! But while I stand by that the Joke was scripted/planned, the reaction was not -- and WILL MISREAD the situation, and it all went south.
