Putin knows to PRETEND to be Christian and allow just a bit of Religious freedom back in Russia, so he can maintain power/control (while he poisons (or "disappears" ) those who oppose him at home. Invaded, unprovoked, Georgia and Ukraine (Crimea) before, after DECADES of saying he WILL PUT BACK TOGETHER THE SOVIET UNION.
