PROGRESS REPORT....
I have gone over and rewritten most of my TERROR STRIKES manuscript early chapters. Sadly, do to old PC failure, and not likely having the printout of the book that I had to the point in Sept of 2006 not containing all that I know I had, but not likely going to get it all back in now. But, alas, I am fortunate in that it seems some of the more 2006 specific items were lost and therefore not as much needing to add pieces to make it relevant from 2006 up to now.
I have a ZOOM scheduled with a publisher on Wed, so instead of being on social media I should be pounding out my last 2 chapters. I hope to have it finalized by then so-as to be able to have a more serious discussion (if you do not have a complete book yet, they have others who do and they would, as they should, have priority of their efforts)!
My Friend Bruce Fleury published through DORRANCE, and I did not have a great conversation with them earlier this week. My Friend Patrick Colbeck published Wrestling Gators through Illumify who I will be talking to on Wed.
BOOK ELEVATOR PITCH:
Terror Strikes is not just a Book, but a Book within a Book as the lead, Marten a newspaper man, is writing a Book about Terrorism. It is also a Blog, within a Book, as Marten uses his Blog as some source material. Terror Strikes not only acts as a history lesson and warning, but concepts of not just those lost but Survivors Guilt and other related issues surrounding Violent acts effecting everyday life.
INTENT OF BOOK is to provide some history regarding various types of attacks, some specific dates, and THAT TERRORISM CAN HAPPEN ANY TIME AND ANY PLACE. Sub-themes: Hate (REAL HATE, which is why they attack us, vs some FAKE HATE claims), people tormented by it, victims of Terrorism, survivors’ guilt (including Suicidal thoughts), and some other CHRISTIAN/CONSERVATIVE/CONSTITUTIONALIST precepts, some pot-shots at WOKEism, more.
